Celia Aviles - Trustee

Howdy Yall! I graduated Dental Hygiene in 1989 from UTHSC-San Antonio. I love the profession. My goal in life has always been to help others and make a positive difference in our community. This is exactly what the profession of dental hygiene has done for me. This year is a non-legislative year and I will do my very best to keep everyone informed about any new legislature that affects the dental hygiene profession. I look forward toward future positive legislature, that will continue to enhance and promote our profession.
I have a 15 year old mixed dog named Scooter the “Evel Kneival Dog” and a 3 month puppy named Gary. I love spending time with them and trying to train the little one before he picks up bad habits from Scooter “the stunt dog”. I am a big Dallas Cowboys fan!! Please contact me if you have any questions about SADHA, the profession, or just want to chat over coffee and a doughnut , you can reach me at
